Erickson
Erickson is situated on Highway #10 en route to Riding Mountain
National Park and is surrounded by an agricultural community of the
Rural Municipality of Clanwilliam. "The Land of the Vikings"
was originally settled by Scandinavian people, but now includes descendants
of various ethnic and cultural groups. Erickson is nestled in very scenic
countryside with Leda Lake in the background. The surrounding area is
truly a hunter's and fisherman's haven as many lakes dot the area and
some such as (Ditch) Gertrude, Kerr, and Otter Lakes, have fully developed

Onanole
Onanole is located 105 km North of Brandon at the South entrance
to Riding Mountain National Park. The proximity to the National Park
provides for a variety of outdoor recreational activities as well making
Onanole a service center for the many park visitors. Services offered

Riding Mountain National Park
Riding Mountain National Park, situated just 10 minutes north of Erickson,
has many experiences to offer. Whether you are seeking the solitude
of a quiet campsite on a secluded lake, or enjoy the company of fellow
campers in their full service campground, the Park has something to
offer you. Riding Mountain National Park is home to the greatest diversity of wildlife
in southwestern Manitoba. Moose, elk, deer and bears are frequently
seen, while lucky visitors can be treated to a view of lynx and wolves.
The Park's service center, Wasagaming, has a number of points of interest,
including the Visitor Center and the English Gardens. If you are planning
