We serve Erickson and the surrounding communities of Onanole, Wasagaming and Rolling River First Nation.
 
Erickson Credit Union has been supporting our communities since 1952.  Decisions are made here on Main Street, Erickson and money made here stays in the communities we serve.  To become a member of Erickson Credit Union, each individual acquires a $5 common share.  These common shares represent members’ ownership of the credit union, and each holder of at least one common share is entitled to one vote at any and all membership meetings.
 
Erickson Credit Union is an open-bond credit union, which means anyone can join.  As a financial institution that is owned and operated by the people that use its services, the credit union is a community-based organization. Members sit on the Board of Directors, and all members are eligible to run for a seat on the board.

Common Share

To become a member of Erickson Credit Union Limited., each individual acquires a $5 common share. These common shares represent members' ownership of the credit union, and each holder of one common share is entitled to one vote at any and all membership meetings. Common Share investments are deemed to be risk capital and, as such, do not come under the guarantee of the Deposit Guarantee Corporation of Manitoba.
Common Shares are owned by the individual member and are fully redeemable at the time a Membership Account is closed (subject to some conditions).
